I am originally from Madison, Wisconsin. I am married to my high school sweetheart, Allyson, and together we have 8 children. I received my doctorate from the California College of Podiatric Medicine in 2000. I spent my fourth year of podiatric medical school at the University of Texas Health Science Center-San Antonio. While in Texas, I received extensive training in diabetic foot care. I did my residency training in reconstructive foot and ankle surgery in Louisville Kentucky, in association with the University of Louisville. I have been in private practice in Nashville since 2003.
In my spare time, I enjoy running, camping, traveling, spending time with my family and friends, and baseball. I am also a Scout master for the Boy Scouts and I help coach baseball and basketball.
